This is an easy move to release neck and shoulder tension as well as a twist through the spine to help get your blood circulating. You can do this at home or in the office of both!
Seated in a chair with your feet hip width apart, sit up tall and take a deep inhalation, engage your stomach muscles, as you exhale drop your head to your right shoulder, inhaling roll your head to the middle of your chest, exhaling roll your head to the left shoulder and inhale your head up. Repeat starting with the left side again. Anywhere that feels particularly tight you can stop and breath there on your neck roll and then continue. For the twist sit up tall as you inhale, engage your stomach muscles place your left hand onto the lower back of the chair and your right hand to the outside of your left knee/ thigh, as you exhale use that right hand as a lever to help twist you round towards the back of the chair. Take some deep breaths, maybe press through your right foot for more of a twist. On an exhale release your arms and bring your body back to the front. Repeat the twist on the other side.
